What is "Not Previously Billed" Surcharge?

There are times, shippers make errors in declaring the right shipping information on their shipment such as the size and weight of the package. When that happens, carriers make necessary adjustments to the shippers billed charges such as the corrected size, weight and all the surcharges associated with that. For UPS, charges are applied as soon as the shipping label is printed and processed in their system. Hence once UPS identified the corrections needed, they apply the charges on the next invoice of the shipper and this is shown as "Not Previously billed surcharges" on their invoice.  You can see these charges from the Platform under the Spend by Surcharge Breakdown Pie chart and the Shipment detailed report. In some cases, it can also appear as UPS Billing adjustment.
