Average Zone
The average zone can be accessed on the VitalFactors™ page within the Platform. It reflects the average shipping zone across all shipments. In the Avg Zone tab, you'll find three key sections: Actionable Insights, a zone heat map, and bar charts showing zones and countries.
The Actionable Insights section highlights areas where higher-than-normal average zones have been detected week over week. It provides a cost breakdown of these increases in average zones. For a detailed analysis of the outliers, click Generate Report.
The zone heat map displays where your packages are being shipped to or from within the United States. Darker shades highlight areas with the highest shipping volume or spend.
You can customize the heat map using filters. Toggle between Destination or Origin, and Spend or Package Count to tailor the data to your needs. Additionally, you can select specific service levels using the All Services dropdown menu.
Hovering over a state will display the Total Net Spend, Package Count, and Average Cost Per Package according to the selected filter.
The Zones bar chart displays the total spend per zone and package count, with the option to toggle between Domestic and Import/Export views. The Top Countries bar chart shows the total spend per country (excluding the US).
