What is Agreement Comparison?

This article is about Agreement Comparison, and some Q&A's about Carrier Agreement, Carrier Proposals and Offers.

Agreement Comparison Page

Agreement comparison allows you to compare carrier proposals against your current pricing to determine the best bid and the savings. You can compare as many proposals as you like. You can click on “Add Agreements” in the top right and drag and drop the PDF carrier agreement to our website. You can easily see the savings by service level, weight break, surcharges, minimums, and dimensional divisor. You will never have to rely on the carrier reps telling you that their proposal is the best. It can now be validated by a non-biased third party to provide peace of mind you are making the best decision.

Q: What should I use as the base/first column?

A: You can select any agreement to use as a “base” to compare with other agreements. Suppose you haven’t already uploaded an agreement. In that case, we have your Actual Spend available (this represents the discounts from your invoice data in our database — the actual discounts you received on average over the entire date range of the data we have).

Typically, you will want to use your current/active agreement as a base in a negotiation.

Q: How do I upload a new agreement/proposal/offer?

A: You can drag and drop an agreement from your computer directly into the App (in the light teal box) or select “Upload PDF” and select the carrier agreement from your browser’s interface. Only PDF files are accepted files for this upload.

Q: When will an agreement that I uploaded be ready to start using on the Comparisons page?

A: There will be a period of parsing and review before you can begin adding the carrier agreement to the Comparisons page. This will be denoted in the Agreements List as “Pending,” When it’s ready to use for comparison, its status will change to “Approved.” On average, a proposal is ready for comparison within 24 business hours.
