What are Returns?

Returns involve sending shipments back to the original seller/shipper or a designated return center. Returns can occur for various reasons such as product defects, incorrect orders, or customer dissatisfaction. The purpose of returns is to potentially receive a refund, replacement, or exchange.

When shippers ship their packages, they may include a return shipping label to assist the customer when they need to return the package if necessary.

The platform shows surcharges associated with the returns under the Surcharge Spend Vital Factor, and can be seen in the shipment detailed report as services tagged with the name returns (e.g.: Return Ground, Returns next day air, etc.).
